Brianna Maitland Doe Show Notes

The last anyone reports seeing Brianna Maitland was when she left her job as a dishwasher at the Black Lantern Inn at approximately 11:20pm. Within an hour, passing motorists saw her car roughly 2 miles away, backed into an abandoned house known as the Dutchburn house. When police arrived the next day, they observed water bottles and Brianna’s necklace on the ground near the car and her paychecks inside the vehicle. While the officer did drive to Brianna’s place of employment to follow up on the accident, the Black Lantern Inn was closed. The vehicle was towed without contacting the registered owner, Brianna’s mother. By the time people realized Brianna was missing, days had passed. Initially, police believed Brianna was a runaway, but now foul play is suspected in her case.

While there are many rumors about what may have happened to Brianna, Vanessa and Aimée endeavor to stick to what is known about Brianna’s disappearance in the hope of shining light on her story.

People and Cases Mentioned in this Episode:

Brianna Maitland (unsolved missing person)
Maura Murray (unsolved missing person)

Mike and Harry Dutchburn (solved assault and robbery)
