Norma/Bexar County Jane Doe

In 1986, a man brings a woman to practice shooting targets outside the city limits of San Antonio. On the way there, the man claims the woman “disrespected him” and, in retaliation, shoots her four times and leaves her body inside an abandoned farmhouse.

Eleven years later, the man begins a series of murders across the country. He becomes known as the Railway Killer because he uses trains to travel from place to place. The hunt for this killer spreads across the United States and earns him a place on the FBI’s Most Wanted list. After he’s arrested, he begins confessing to crimes, one of which is the woman he murdered in San Antonio.

This is how we learn a few details about her: her name may have been Norma, she may have been from Florida, and it’s possible she practiced Santeria. Her killer said he also murdered her boyfriend and dumped his body between San Antonio and Uvalde, though his body has never been found and his identity is unknown.

Despite the information the serial killer had about this came as well as the murder of Darryl Kolojaco, for which Diamantina Kolojaco and Andres Mascorro are currently in prison for, the killer was executed on June 27, 2006.

“Norma’s” murder was considered a close case after his confession. Her identity is still not know.
