In 2013 when a woman walking her dog along a beach in Lattingtown, NY, in Long Island finds the skeletal remains of a woman inside a bag, there are few clues to her identity. The unidentified woman is between the ages of 20-50 and is found with a 24K gold necklace with a pig charm. Police theorize that she may be of Chinese or Korean descent and that she was purposefully buried on the beach. They also state that there’s been trauma to her remains, but reveal few other details about her publicly. What they do, though, is contact authorities in neighboring Suffolk County sparking theories that she is connected to murders along Gilgo Beach.
Is she a victim of the man known as the Long Island Serial Killer (LISK)? Or other known murderers on Long Island?
